History
Siber Imaging was founded by Dr. Myra Preston and by Kim Phillips, an executive specializing in business development. The clinic has been working with CFIDS/ME/FM clients utilizing qEEG (brain mapping) and neurofeedback since 1990. In the early stages of the company’s existence, Dr. Preston and Kim Phillips designed research studies, which have been presented at national and international symposiums by Dr. Paul Cheney, Dr. Charles Lapp and Dr. Ian Hyams, all three of whom are renowned chronic fatigue syndrome, myalgic encephalomyelitis, and fibromyalgia clinicians. After carefully evaluating many clients utilizing qEEG (brain mapping) and their individual responses to neurotherapy, the company applied for a patent. In December of 1993, the company was awarded U.S. Patent No. 5,267,570: “METHOD OF DIAGNOSING AND TREATING CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME.”
